A second opinion on your wealth — the Wealth Optimisation Review
A Wealth Optimisation Review is a no-obligation second opinion on your structure, tax, super and investments — a Portfolio X-Ray that tells you whether your wealth is genuinely optimised or quietly leaking value. If there’s nothing worth changing, we’ll say so. If there is, you’ll see exactly where, and in what order to fix it.

“Am I optimised — or leaving money on the table?”
It’s the question every successful professional eventually asks. You’ve done well — multiple properties, a trust, a company, super, maybe an SMSF — but complexity has crept in, and no single person is making it all work together. The honest answer isn’t a feeling; it’s something you can actually check. That’s what the review is for.
What a Wealth Optimisation Review looks at
- Structure — the entities and ownership behind your wealth, and whether they still fit the life you’re living
- Tax — efficiency across income, investments and capital gains, including Division 293 and franking credits
- Superannuation and SMSF — contribution strategy, caps and whether the fund is earning its keep
- Investments — asset allocation and risk against your goals, and the fees you pay versus the value you get
- Estate and succession — whether wealth passes the way you intend, without unravelling
- Coordination — whether your accountant, lawyer and lender are actually pulling in the same direction
A second opinion — without offending your current adviser
Keeping what works is smart. A review isn’t a verdict on your current adviser; it’s due diligence on your own wealth — the same health check you’d run on any other part of a complex life. Plenty of people walk away reassured that they’re on track. Others find a structure built for an earlier life that’s quietly costing them. Either way, you leave knowing.
What you walk away with
A clear, plain-English picture of where your wealth is optimised and where it isn’t — and a prioritised list of the moves that matter most, in the order we’d make them. You decide what to do with it. There’s no obligation to work with us, and no pressure to leave anyone you already work with.
Architecture-led, not a rip-and-replace
We don’t lead with a product or tear down what’s working to sell you something new. We look at the architecture — how the pieces fit — and coordinate with the advisers you already trust. We’re paid for advice and coordination, never product commissions, so the review answers one question only: what’s actually best for you?
The question isn’t whether you’re doing okay. It’s whether you’re optimised.
Common questions
How do I get a second opinion without offending my current adviser?
Treat it as routine due diligence on your own wealth, not a judgement on your adviser — a review of structure, fees, tax and strategy. Many people use it simply to confirm they’re on the right track. We coordinate with the advisers you already trust rather than poach, so a review doesn’t commit you to changing anything.
What does a Wealth Optimisation Review cost?
The first conversation is a no-obligation Wealth Gap Conversation at no cost. The review itself is a fixed-scope, fee-for-service engagement quoted upfront — never a product commission. If we don’t believe we can find improvements worth more than the cost of the work, we’ll tell you before you commit to it.
Is it worth switching financial advisers?
Sometimes the answer is to stay and refine, not switch — the review is designed to tell you which. If your current arrangement is sound, you’ll hear that. If a sharper structure would be worth real money over time, you’ll see exactly where, and you can decide who implements it. General information only — not personal advice.
How do I check whether a financial adviser is properly qualified?
Search the ASIC Financial Advisers Register at moneysmart.gov.au by name or adviser number — it shows an adviser’s authorisation, qualifications and history. Look for a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), specialist accreditation such as SMSF Specialist Adviser™, and membership of a professional body like the FAAA.
