Editorial & corrections policy
Every page on this site is produced under one set of standards: a named, licensed adviser reviews the content before it is published, figures are drawn from primary sources, and reported errors are corrected. This page sets out how that works — including the honest limits of keeping a website current.

Every article, service page and glossary entry carries a visible reviewed-by line naming the reviewer and the date of the last review. If a page does not state a review date, treat it as navigational rather than advisory content.
How pages are kept current
Web pages date. Rules, thresholds and start dates change, and no website can promise every page reflects yesterday’s announcement. What we commit to instead: year-specific figures state their effective date in the visible text so you can judge currency yourself; pages describing tax, superannuation or legislative settings are re-reviewed when we become aware the rules they describe have changed; and the "Last reviewed" date on each page moves only when its content has actually been checked or changed — it is never bumped for appearances.
Sourcing standards
Figures, thresholds and rule descriptions are drawn from primary sources: the Australian Taxation Office, ASIC and its Moneysmart service, and the legislation itself. Where a figure is year-specific, the effective date is stated in the visible text rather than implied. We do not republish figures we cannot trace to a primary source.
Corrections
If you believe something on this site is wrong or out of date, email hello@thewealthgap.com.au. Where a material error is confirmed, we correct the page and update its "Last reviewed" date.
